If it’s been a while since you have seen a dentist or you are starting to notice any of the following signs/symptoms, then we would recommended seeing a dentist at your soonest convenience.

Pain or swelling in your mouth/neck/face.

Bleeding gums- maybe you have noticed blood when you brush your teeth?

Difficulty chewing or eating food.

Dry mouth- maybe you suffer with dry mouth? This can be a side effect of medication, but can have a negative effect on teeth/gums.

Bad breath- this is something that can make a lot of people very self-conscious, and should be checked by a dentist in case of an underlying issue.

Patches in the mouth/sores or ulcers that last- It is also a good idea to get a dentist to look at anything new you notice in the mouth that concerns you, or an ulcer that lasts for a week or more.

Jaw pain- whether this is just when you wake up in the morning or in general it could be a sign of a few things including an uneven bite.
