Looking to improve your Dental Routine? Here are a few tips we would recommend to improve your dental routine at home-
1) Brush your teeth twice a day-
Preferably before breakfast to help protect your teeth from acids in foods/drinks, and last thing before you go to bed at night.
2) Changing your toothbrush/toothbrush head roughly every 3 months (Even if it doesn’t look worn out) Toothbrushes accumulate a lot of nasty bacteria.
3) Fluoride toothpaste-
Make sure your toothpaste contains fluoride as this helps to keep your teeth strong and avoids early onset of tooth decay.
4) Cleaning in-between your teeth-
There are many different products available such as floss, Tepes and interdental sticks. Cleaning in-between your teeth once a day could prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Lastly, making sure that you see a dentist at least twice a year, and preferably a hygienist. This will help to prevent your teeth/gums from needing as much treatment if any at all.
