Whenever I attended my old Hygienist she made my mouth bleed and poked around so much I had headaches after.  I used to dread going but I do need my teeth cleaning as I am a smoker.

I met this team at a Wedding Fayre and they suggested trying their hygienist, well I had nothing to lose really as I wasn't really looking forward to going back to my old one.  When I got there I was approached by very friendly staff and they made me feel very comfortable before going in.  I explained to the lady what had happened before and she told me that my teeth/gums should not bleed or have headaches.  She explained everything to me as she was working on my teeth.  Before I knew it, she had carried out her work and I set off back to work feeling great.  When I looked in the mirror I could not believe how clean they were and looked whiter than ever before and I didn't have any whitening done!

The price was exactly the same but the service was much better.  I would recommend anyone who has experience what I had to give them a try like I did and I promise you will not be disappointed.

First of all I am honoured that you have asked me to write about my experience with you and your Dental Clinic.

I came to the Clinic about a year ago after being with a NHS Clinic for many years and was told that my teeth and mouth were healthy.  I was not convinced and wanted a second opinion as my mouth was getting me down and I felt my health was suffering.

What I like about Glenn is he put you at ease, explained why and how he will solve the problem to my teeth and gums using visual aids, explains in a language which makes sense and is very precise in everything he does.  The Clinic portrays a professional clean and up to date environment with an effective communication system in place, with a friendly caring helpful staff who work well together, giving confidence to the patient.

Glenn suggested that I should change all my filling in my mouth as they were old and starting to break down giving a bad taste in my mouth.  Glenn could not tell from the x ray if there was decay in my teeth due to metal compound in the old filling which caused shadows in my teeth and the white filling were more healthy and decay is seen on x rays.  I knew that my body rejected metal from the operation I had so this made sense to me.  Glenn then would replace the crowns as my gums had receded.  I was worried how much this treatment would cost me and was pleased to have a written estimate stating the work to be done and the cost so I knew exactly where I was.  So I agreed to have the work done.

I believe I had 16 teeth fillings changed and Glenn found 6 teeth had decay in them and 5 crowns changed with decay in 3 of them.  Well worth doing as I could have lost my teeth so easily.  I had the work done in 6 long sessions as I wanted to have it done quickly.

I also saw Emma the Hygienist she helped me so much in educating me in how to keep my teeth clean.  Yes, I know you may laugh but between us I managed to stop my gums receding and bleeding which has helped my health no end.  I see Emma every 3 month and I think it is money well spent.

I am so pleased with my teeth I have managed to talk my wife into starting her treatment with Glenn and she has had trouble with teeth all her life and was so nervous about going.  I believe that she is now generally excited to see her mouth when the work is completed.

Do I think having me teeth done is a good investment of time and money? Yes, as I feel better about myself and more confident.

Before I became a patient I have been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort, which had not been resolved.  I was apprehensive of changing to another dentist but I am so glad that I did.

Thank you for asking for my views on your dental practice. I am very pleased that I made the choice to come to your practice. I came on recommendation from a couple that I know, after saying in conversation that i had lost my nerve to go back to my dentist.

The treatment I have received has made me lose the fear of the dentist chair (I have walked out of a dentist before now, as I was so nervous. The receptionist is exceptionally friendly and put you at ease, which makes a big difference when you enter the practice.

The use of the “wand” has also been a very big benefit to me as I am terrified of the needle. There is no pain nor after pain when the numbness goes. This to me has taken the stress out of dental treatment altogether. Dr. Steffin is wonderful in explaining all that he is going to do, and you can see the before and after treatment on screen. The treatment that I have received has meant that i can now smile and laugh and not be embarrassed about my teeth.

I must say it has been worth every penny, I have also recommended several of my friends who have taken up the option of Denplan enabling them to have first class treatment without worrying if they can afford it.

After our family dentist of many years retired, my husband and I were transferred to a dental practice in Worthing - and it wasn't a good experience!

So - we moved to Dr Steffin's practice in East Preston, and then Ferring, and we couldn't have chosen any better.

He and his team are superb - from the minute we first contacted them they have been really friendly and made us feel totally comfortable - and everything is explained, which makes us feel more at ease without dental treatment.
